It literally broke my heart to learn that these are discontinued! I'm finishing my last box that were purchased as a baby shower gift. I love pampers diapers. My daughter urinates extremely frequently and these are the only diapers that seem to keep up with her. Even if we take a long car ride to grandma's house I don't have to worry about any leaks because they always exceed my expectations. I love the green aspect and it makes me feel good whenever I use these that I am helping reduce my foot print. I love the idea of these diapers, but my son managed to pee through almost every diaper we put on him. I'd say try them yourself and see if they work for you as they are super soft! I loved these, however my pocket book did not. If my child would have had super sensitive skin, it would have been a no brainer. But with cost in mind and her skin not being sensitive, we went with a cheaper brand. I really like these Huggies diapers. They are super absorbent and fit really well. I've tried several different brands of sensitive diapers and these are by far the best I've tried. Other diapers seem to have a really strong smell to them, but these don't have any smell to them at all. I love these Huggies I started buying Huggies years ago with my first child they were the only diaper that didn't break out all three of my children. I especially love the Huggies Pure and Natural because I am even more confident no matter how hot it is outside my baby will not break out even the slightest bit and they are very absorbent and have no smell! I really like these diapers, even over the other Huggies types. They seem very comfortable for my baby and I would buy them again. Great diapers for natural care and they do not twist or fall apart!!

My green washing example is of Huggies pure and natural diapers. Green-washing is an example of a company or business that advertises there products as being environmentally friendly to encourage customers that their products are good or safe for the environment. This is a green washing example because the company is clearly pushing natural, organic, friendly ingredients to sell the diapers but are not informing their consumers enough. My suggesting to make this product less green-washed and more green is to carry through with what they are advertising, if they are going to use organic cotton make sure it is certified, otherwise it is just words. Also a big problem is over consumption and so many diapers are used, they should make their diapers biodegradable. Parents need to not just think of their children life when they are a baby, their children will be faced with the huge landfills and pollution problems. Another possible suggestion is making a line of reusable or washable diapers. Another suggestion is to not use bleach or chlorine to make the diaper white, huggies pure and natural.

Huggies has a perceived value and quality due largely to brand recognition and popular use that have made them a go-to diaper for many. Based on the popularity of Huggies products, we had expected it to do better. It had the worst score for absorption out of the 4 diapers in it's price range, with Eco by Naty getting the top nod with a perfect 10 of While the absorption score was nothing to get excited about, the leak score was downright pitiful. With a score of 3 of 10 for leaks it came in below average compared to all the diapers.
Meaning the overall elastic, leg cuffs, and breath-ability of the side materials were nothing to sing about. It did however, manage to huggies pure and natural better than both Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Swaddlers Sensitivewhich each received a 4 of 10 score.
